Job Description
Be able to investigate thru research city and county records to ascertain ownership of properties, and disposition of rights along streets, alleys, and highways.
Be able to interpret company policy regarding purchase of property, or payments and terms of agreements for permits and easements to install facilities on property belonging to other parties.
Be able to negotiate with landholders for access routes and restoration of roads and surfaces.
Be able to assist in the purchase or acquire right-of-way or obtains permits, licenses, and agreements. Update and maintain existing leases and right-of-way.
The candidate will be exposed to design and engineering of fiber optic networks, construction and delivery of conduit and fiber routes, and management of financial requirements for ROW providers.
Skills and Qualifications
Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Understands telecom industry standards and practices
Strong analytical skills, the ability to meet deadlines, multi task and prioritize
Ability to make high level design assumptions when provided limited information
Excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal, analytical, abstract reasoning and organizational skills
Time management, organization, and attention to detail are critical to success in this position.
This position requires a self-motivated person who will work with minimal supervision.
Ability to analyze processes and provide creative ideas for improvement is encouraged.
