Job Description

Coast to coast planning of client projects for Fiber to the Premise (FTTP), address recovery per county, parcel type and classifying local franchise authority boundaries.  Perform technical engineering layout of entire project for FTTP using MapInfo tools.  Conduct technical survey of existing cell sites for provisioning of new fiber optics, including equipment locations, power availability and transport access.  Perform technical drafting using AutoCAD, OptiNT and Microsoft Visio of detailed engineering plan for construction, Fiber to the Node (FTTN) and permitting of sites.

Requirements

 

Master’s or equivalent in Electronics, Communications or Telecommunications Engineering.  No experience required.  (Masters maybe substituted with Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work experience as Telecommunications Engineer, Outside Plant Engineer, Systems Engineer, Engineer or any suitable combination of experience/education/training.)

 

Hours

9 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours/week

SALARY 

$75,500/year
