Description
Planning/design
of aerial/underground fiber optic routes from main fiber rings to
locations most accessible to 4G and 3G cell sites. Planning, design and survey of
48-count fiber optics from 4G and 3G cell sites to nearest fiber slack
or enclosure with included permitting issues. Technical survey of existing cell
sites for provision of new fiber optics, including equipment location,
power availability and transport access. Technical drafting using AutoCad and
Microsoft Visio of detailed engineering plan for construction.
Requirements
Master’s
or equivalent Electronics, Communications or Telecommunications Engineering.
No experience required. (Master’s may be substituted with
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work experience as Telecom Engineer, Outside
Plant Engineer or Engineer.)
Hours
9
AM to 5 PM, 40 hours/week
SALARY
$75,500/year
